Political analyst Bruce Gyory weighs in.
And then we contemplate our highways and byways. Senator Martin Dilan is the former Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, and currently a member of the committee. He is also the Senate Sponsor of the “Complete Streets” bill (s.1332) which mandates that communities plan, design and construct additional roadways that non-motorized users can use. We speak with him about the bill.

The New York State County Highway Superintendents Association President Bill Dashnaw (St. Lawrence County) and the President of the New York State Association of TOWN Superintendents of Highways (NYSAOTSOH), Roger Wolfe (Town of Yates) will both be here in the studio to discuss their memo of opposition to “Complete Streets”, as well as their concerns over the state’s aging infrastructure. Did you know that New York only gets 13% of the federal, state and local taxes collected at gas pumps around the state to support infrastructure?
